Who We Are
BOKU JUNK provides junk removal, hauling, and cleanouts across Los Angeles, Orange & San Bernardino Counties. In this policy, “BOKU JUNK,” “we,” and “us” mean the business.
What We Collect
When you send an estimate request, the form asks for:
- your name
- your phone number
- your email address, if you give one
- the type of service you need
- your city
- your ZIP code
- the details of the job you describe, such as the items and where they are
- your preferred date or time, if you give one
- your agreement that we may contact you about the request
When you visit the website, the server that delivers it and the proxy in front of it may record technical details of each request in their logs: your IP address, the type of browser you use, the page you asked for, and the time. The website itself does not log what you type into the form.
This website sets no cookies.
Why We Collect It
We use the details of your request to respond to it, to go over the job with you, and to arrange and carry out the service you ask for. Any such logs are used only to keep the website working and secure.
Who Receives It
Your request is sent by email to our business mailbox, delivered by Google. The website runs on servers provided by Vultr.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How Long We Keep It
The website keeps no copy of your request: it delivers the request by email to our business mailbox. We delete a request from our business mailbox one month after we receive it. The website's server and its security software keep their logs of each request to the site and their security alerts, which include the visitor's IP address, for up to 8 days.
Your Choices and Rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it or to delete it. To make a request, email us at info@boku-junk.com and say that it is a privacy request. We may ask you to confirm who you are before we act on it.
California Privacy Notice
If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you rights over your personal information. This notice applies when we collect it.
- Identifiers: your name, phone number, email address, and the IP address your browser connects from.
- Commercial information: the service you ask about and the details of your project.
